Dr. Nam and was able to restore this patients mouth with a Dental implant and crown. The patients adjacent teeth were not suitable for a bridge so the only option was to restore this edentulous space with a permanent implant and porcelain crown. The patient and doctor were very pleased with the result.
Patients often want straight teeth but do not want to spend time moving them with braces or invisalign trays. Veneers are a good way to instantly improve the esthetics of your smile. Dental veneer placement involves removing minimal tooth structure on the front side of the tooth and cementing on a thin piece of porcelain that covers the front of the tooth, creating instant esthetic enhancement
Patients often want their old silver fillings, often called "Amalgam filings" by the dentist, replaced by newer esthetic composite fillings. Composite fillings are tooth colored fillings that are very strong. They adhere to the tooth structure via a chemical bond. This patient below had old silver fillings that had decay underneath the old restoration. Dr. Nam was able to remove the filling and give the patient a terrific esthetic result. Both the patient and Doctor were happy with this result.
The doctors are able to use both traditional braces and clear aligners (Invisalign) to straighten teeth. There are advantages and disadvantages of both that the doctors can explain to you at your initial visit. Below are examples of how braces and Invisalign trays look.
Many patients do not have the time to perform at home bleaching. Zoom whitening is a revolutionary product that allows patients to see their teeth become more whiter in only an hour!
Dr. Nam has also performed many periodontal surgeries. Patients may need gum surgery because of periodontitis (damage to the gums and surrounding bone) or to place a more optimal restoration such as crowns or dental veneers.
